Sports - Chad Muska in Fulfill the Dream

This was probably one of the last skateboard videos that I watched religiously that inspired me to get into the profession of filming and working in professional sports. Chad Muska shredding it in Fulfill the Dream for Shorty's Skateboards. He even skates on that iconic Muska Shorty's board that I saw my buddies back in STL snap in half so many times. Enjoy!

Music Video - Lady Gaga's "You and I"

Gotta give it to Gaga - this crazy biatch and her PR/Production team come up with some unique jams and some even more unique music videos. Not her best song or video here but pretty amazing that she seems to be able to transform herself into every kind of recording artist. This time she does her best country/western jam and although it is not my favorite kind of music - she does it some sort of justice. I still have a hard time looking at her - she legit terrifies me.

Music Video - Starsmith "Lesson One"

In the realm of hipster music videos that make no sense - this one might take the cake. Two hipsters walking around fishing who eventually after lots of sad looking sexual chemistry skip some stones, smoke some cigs and go back to sleep... So deep. So very deep. That being said - the song kicks mad ass-cheeks (in my opinion) and although the video has no reason to exist, it is shot very well in a beautiful location. Sold that well didn't I?

Music Video - St. Lucia's "Mirror on the Shelf"

Pretty classic hipster-crazy-doesn't-really-make-sense video but watching it gets me excited for the All Things Gold party going on tonight hosted by my good pals at Neon Gold Records and All Things Go. Hope people come out even though Hurricane Irene is coming to eat all of us alive in the DMV.

Trailer - Locke & Key

I heard they were making a pilot for this show and then I heard that no one picked it up. Well fortunately (or unfortunately) we now have a trailer for the never to be seen show. To me - it looks awesome. H/T to Matt Terl for finding it and posting to Facebook.

Random - Lil Wayne's "It's Good" Disses Jay-Z

Apparently this Lil Wayne song off the much anticipated album The Carter IV disses Jay-Z and Beyonce after a lyric in the horrible song H*A*M on Watch The Throne upset Lil Weezy. It comes around 3:03. Thoughts out there? Think Lil Wayne would actually beef with Jay-Z? They seem to have always had a good report.

The song is pretty bad ass too... At least the part with Lil Wayne is...

Trailer - George Harrison: Living in the Material World

Martin Scorcese's 2 part documentary on HBO about George Harrison finally has got a trailer. Pretty excited for this one. You can see it on HBO October 5th and 6th.

TV Spotlight - It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia (Season 7 Preview)

A little taste of Always Sunny In Philadelphia season 7 including Mac who is super fat and funny looking. Cant wait for this show to come back. One of my all time favorites.

Sports - MLS and NBC Sports

An awesome idea for NBC Sports. Their NBC Sports Network will need content and this gives them a LOT of content. Hope they think about making a push for some MLL games as well in the future. Love me some Lax.

Music Video - Kanye West/Jay-Z's Otis

Figured I would put this bad boy up. I'm not exactly crazy about the video (not really much to it) but that torn up Maybach is pretty sick and the song is very good. Hope you enjoy - in general I found this collaboration album with Kanye West and Jay-Z to be pretty average (although many would say I am crazy).

Sports - Mike Laga's Foul Ball at Old Busch Stadium

My pal Jordan Beane sent me this little nugget from Deadspin with Mike Laga hitting a foul ball out of the park at Busch Stadium back in '86. Not only a great moment but an awesome look at Busch during the glory days. Check it out, Cards fans.

Music Video - Marina & the Diamonds' "Part 1: Fear and Loathing"

One of my favorite female singer/songwriters appears to be on the cusp of releasing her second studio album and this music video makes me pretty excited for it. Marina is pretty out there (especially with her new Electra Heart alter ego) and this little snippet which is apparently "a preview of an album track" has somewhat of a Black Swan-ish feel that is pretty awesome. Mix that with what sounds like another well written/sung track and voila! Marina is back. Can't wait. She says, "Electra Heart epitomises and embodies the lies, illusions and death of American ideologies involved in the corruption of self."

TV Spotlight - Sonyae Wins Bravo's Platinum Hit

Although I typically fastforwarded through the entire show to just see the performances and who got cut each week, I still thought Bravo's Platinum Hit was a pretty good show. Problem was my girlfriend knew singer/songwriter Sonyae who was on the show and the anticipation of her possibly making it to the next episode each week was too much to wait an hour for. And last night Sonyae took it to the house winning the show and a pretty awesome prize. Check out last night's performance.

Music Video - The Rej3ctz's Cat Daddy

Not sure how I missed this for so long but was at an event in Baltimore yesterday and every time this song came on the kids literally went insane and did this strange wheelchair dance. Pretty hysterical. Apparently the song dropped in December so that means I am officially 9 months out of date. Either way - look for me to be "Cat-Daddy'ing" in a club near you.

Music Videos - Eliza Doolittle's Skinny Genes

There is something about Eliza's epic cuteness, the easy-going song and what looks like a pretty fun party that makes this video addicting. Not a new video by any stretch but new to me. What do you guys think?

Sports - NBC Sports Network

Check out this video from Mark Lazarus, Chairman of the NBC Sports Group, who unveils the end of the Versus name and logo and the beginning of NBC Sports Network. Not a surprising move, but interesting to see it nonetheless. The change will officially go down January 2, 2012.

TV Spotlight - Snooki Pre-Snooki

My girlfriend found this today. Snooki before she was Snooki. If you didn't know - Jersey Shore will be back this Thursday from their new location in Italy. The trailers for that show have been amazing.
Not sure what this "Is She Really Going Out With Him?" show is but it literally looks like the entire Jersey Shore show put into one 5 minute segment. Enjoy!
