Trailer - Attack The Block
I have heard this is awesome. Looking for a DC theater with it and I will let you know. Anyone else seen it?
Random - Facebook Profile Avatar
Wanted to create a new avatar for Facebook/Twitter for GoodenoughFilms.com. Ended up being something kinda fun to do. Thought I would share. Some of my favorite movies on there. Click it to make it bigger.
News - 4 Years
Didn't even realize it but this blog is 4 years old now. Of those 4 years I have probably spent only about 1 total year actually being good about updating it. Trying out this new short form style now. Makes it less tedious. People seem to be enjoying it. Thanks for sticking with me all these years. Much love, James.
Sports / Random - Cool Camera
Pretty awesome little camera that my buddy Jordan showed me today. I'm not sure what personal use I could do with it now (sweet HD typing shots?) but the footage of the surfing from this video is awesome. Always wanted to know what it was like to get tubed for like 20 seconds. Love it. Check the website as well.

Sports - End of an NFL Era?
Great article about the NFL Network killing NFL Films. I am a baby and even I don't think the NFL Film's stuff is dated. Very sad to hear about what is going on at the Network but I guess that is just business. Let's hope the "tight-spiral guys" won't become a thing of the past. (Shout to Matt Terl for pointing me to this)

Sports - Are You In?
On a day when the Redskins finally are parting ways with McNabb - it seems only right to look back at the good ol' days. So much hope and promise. ARE YOU IN?
Random - Self Portrait
Got a haircut and took a photo for my girlfriend. Then instagr.am'd it. Now sharing. Enjoy. Or not. Don't care. Love, James.

Sports - Colby No MO.
Saying goodbye to a guy who slowly became one of my least favorite baseball players on one of my favorite sports franchises of all time. Adios to Colby Rasmus and his hillbilly ways. Hello to Edwin Jackson and his rugged inconsistency. Whatever, Tony LaRussa hated this guy. Good riddance.

Music Videos - Ellie Goulding's Lights
Saw Ellie Goulding last night in concert at 9:30 club in DC. Thought it was pretty awesome. And she killed this song. Pretty good music video in its own right.
Sports - Stanislav Galiev Mic'd Up
I created this bad boy for my new job with the Caps. Short but sweet!

This also looks awesome. Pearl Jam 4 Life. The bro in me will always love the Jam.Good Read: Aaron Cohen on 24/7

Check out this awesome interview with Aaron Cohen on TheBigLead.com about Derek Jeter 3K (this Thursday on HBO) and his work on 24/7 on HBO. Good read.
Music Video - björk: crystalline
Weird song, weird video, interests me though. Stop motion? Thoughts?
Stephen Jackson is the Man.
Check out new Nike/Dick's Sporting Goods ad with one of my favorite athlete's Stephen Jackson. Pretty funny and reminds me of the simple fact - FOOTBALL IS BACK! Crazy.

News -- 2011 Primetime Emmy Awards

As of today we are 55 days away from the 2011 Primetime Emmy awards. This about the 5th year in a row where a lot of the same shows are up for the same awards. This year, they also made a pretty awesome Emmy Award Nomination page. My 10 thoughts on some of the top categories:
1. Good for Melissa McCarthy for getting nominated. She was hilarious in Bridesmaids. I have never seen Mike & Molly so for all I know it could be terrible. But happy for her regardless.
2. Matt LeBlanc sneaking into the Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in Episodes excites me. Mostly because the other options are two guys who have been nominated far too many times in a row (Carrell and Baldwin) and the losers from The Big Bang Theory. Going to guess Louis C.K. wins the award but happy for LeBlanc and the cute show Episodes for the recognition.
3. A lot of Modern Family actors/actresses are nominated in supporting roles. Good for them all - the show rocks.
4. Comedy series does not include It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia again. Not even sure it deserves to win but definitely deserves to be nominated. A bunch of crap network shows on the list. Hope Modern Family wins. Hope Glee doesn't.
5. The Killing was awesome but not sure Mireille Enos deserves a Best Actress - Drama win. Give it to Julianna Margulies. The Good Wife is an awesome show and a lot of it has to do with her.
6. My boy Kyle Chandler up for Best Actor - Drama for his amazing time spent as Coach Eric Taylor on FNL. If he does not win, Clear Eyes, Full Hearts CAN Lose.
7. Peter Dinklage must win the Supporting Actor - Drama for his role on Game of Thrones. The show was amazing and he was stellar.
8. While you are at it - give Game of Thrones the win for Outstanding Drama Series. So much upside to that show. So little downside.
9. Already cool that Conan was nominated and Leno was not. Now just give it to Team CoCo.
10. Still have little to no care about any of these Miniseries nominations. Sorry.
Is It Cold In here?
