TV Spotlight -- Entourage (HBO)

As much as last season was a dismal failure - I was as pumped as anyone last night to see the Season Six premiere episode of Entourage entitled "Drive." After beating Vince down to a pulp, the writers decided to give him a little change of fate and bring the show back from the lowly, bankrupt Hollywood story to one the one we all came to love in Season One and Two of fame and success.

The question obviously will be can they find a new story line that isn't 1. Vinny being incredibly successful and happy (been there) or 2. Vinny being broke pimpin' (done that) or 3. Vinny somewhere in between these two extremes fighting with Ari about making another crap movie (Medellin 2.0). Does the show have enough to keep this train running and keep us interested? In an ideal world the writers will have found something interesting to focus on about Johnny Drama or Turtle. Heaven help us if E is the main subject for many episodes (which I am sure he most likely will be).

All in all - I had more fun watching last night than I did for probably any episode last season so I am feeling positive. However - without drama that rises above the inner-turmoil-bromance of Vinny and the boys - we could be set up for a snooze.
